The pods are leaving grounds in my coffee cup. What should I do?Updated 19 days ago

Our compostable pods are tested across a wide range of Keurig® and compatible single-serve machines, but because each brewer operates a little differently, you may experience grounds in your cup.

This can happen if your brewer model brews too quickly, uses higher pressure, or runs at a hotter temperature than usual. These factors can sometimes damage compostable materials, which are more sensitive than plastic or foil pods.

In some cases, the pod may not fully reach the needle that punctures the bottom. If that happens, try gently piercing a small hole at the bottom of the pod before inserting it into your machine. This helps ensure the pod brews properly and reduces the chance of grounds escaping.
If you’d like an alternative, reusable pods are a great option. They allow you to use your own ground coffee and typically fit securely in most single-serve machines.
